Look for the bus number that goes to Cortona, typically the 'Cortona' sign will be displayed. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cortona bus station, exit the station and walk straight along Via Roma for about 250 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Berrettini. Train
Head to the Arezzo train station, which is a short walk from the city center. Take a train to Camucia-Cortona, which is the nearest train station to Cortona. The train journey lasts approximately 15 minutes. After arriving at Camucia-Cortona station, exit the station and catch a local bus (look for buses heading to Cortona) or take a taxi to reach the center of Cortona. If you choose to walk, head straight on Via Vittorio Emanuele II for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Cortona.
