Public Transport
From Arezzo, head to the Arezzo train station (Stazione di Arezzo). You can walk there from the city center in about 15 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading towards Siena. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Siena station, exit and look for the bus terminal located just outside the train station. Take the bus to Radda in Chianti, which usually departs every hour. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Radda in Chianti, Fattoria di Montemaggio is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Head north on Via Roma, then turn left onto Località Montemaggio and follow the signs to the winery.

Walking
If you are in the central area of Arezzo, you can take a scenic walk to Radda in Chianti. Start by heading towards the Piazza Grande and then make your way to Via Crispi. Follow Via Crispi until you reach the outskirts of the city. From there, continue along the countryside roads, which will eventually lead you to Radda in Chianti. This is a long walk, approximately 20 kilometers, so be prepared for a hike and bring plenty of water.

Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle in Arezzo. There are several rental shops in the city center. Once you have your bike, head towards the SR71 road. Follow this road north, which will take you through beautiful Tuscan countryside towards Radda in Chianti. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and offers stunning views.
