Getting There

Once you exit, follow the signs for Via del Tezio. This road will lead you toward Monte Tezio. It is about a 45-minute walk from the basilica to the base of Monte Tezio.

From Assisi, walk to the bus station located at Via Giovanni Falcone. Take the bus towards Perugia (line 5 or 6, depending on the schedule). Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop 'Montelaguardia' or ask for directions to Monte Tezio. Once you arrive, you might need to walk a little further to reach the hiking trails leading up Monte Tezio.
