From Bergamo, make your way to the Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo). You can take bus line 1 or 1A from the city center (Piazza Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto) to the train station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Milan (Milano Centrale). The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and the train ride to Milan takes approximately 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro (Milan Metro). Take Metro Line 3 (the yellow line) towards Comasina and get off at the 'Duomo' station. From here, exit the station and head towards the historic center. Walk down Via Torino, and then turn left onto Corso di Porta Ticinese. The Basilica San Lorenzo Maggiore will be on your right at number 35.

From Bergamo, go to the Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo). Take a direct train to Milano Centrale. The ride will take around 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, follow the signs for the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (yellow line) towards Comasina and disembark at 'Duomo' station. Upon exiting the station, walk down Via Torino and turn left onto Corso di Porta Ticinese. The Basilica San Lorenzo Maggiore will be located at number 35 on your right.
