Upon arrival at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (the yellow line) towards Comasina and get off at Duomo station. From Duomo station, transfer to Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS and get off at Cadorna station. Finally, from Cadorna, it's about a 15-minute walk to Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio. Exit Cadorna station and walk south along Via Alfonso Oliva, then turn left onto Corso Magenta. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Sant'Ambrogio.
