Getting there

Bus

From the city center (Piazza Matteotti), take bus number 6 in the direction of 'Piazza S. Anna'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Piazza S. Anna' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk straight until you reach the intersection and turn left onto Via Astino. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will find the Monastero di Astino on your right at Via Astino, 13.

Walking

If you prefer to walk from the city center, start at Piazza Vecchia and head towards Via Colleoni. Continue straight until you reach the funicular station (Funicolare Città Alta). Take the funicular up to Città Alta (Upper Town). Once you arrive, exit the funicular and walk towards the San Vigilio castle. Follow the signs towards 'Monastero di Astino'. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and the scenic route offers beautiful views of the city.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi from anywhere in Bergamo to the Monastero di Astino. Simply request the driver to take you to 'Via Astino, 13'. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. It’s a convenient option if you prefer not to navigate public transport.
