Bus
From the center of Bergamo, head to the bus station at 'Piazza Marconi'. Take the bus number 1 towards 'Milano Centrale'. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Disembark at 'Milano Centrale' station and then transfer to the Metro. Follow the signs to the Metro Station and take the Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) towards 'Comasina'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Duomo' station. From the station, walk for about 10 minutes. Head east on 'Via dei Rivi' towards 'Piazza del Duomo', then continue straight onto 'Via Filodrammatici' where Teatro alla Scala is located.
Train
Make your way to Bergamo train station. Purchase a ticket for a train to 'Milano Centrale'. The train ride will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Milano Centrale', exit the station and follow the signs to the Metro. Take the Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) towards 'Comasina' and get off at 'Duomo' station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head east on 'Via dei Rivi' towards 'Piazza del Duomo', then continue straight onto 'Via Filodrammatici' where you will find Teatro alla Scala.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Bergamo to Teatro alla Scala. Just ask the driver to take you to 'V. Filodrammatici, 2, Milano'. The trip should take around 50 minutes, depending on traffic.
