Walking
If you are in the heart of Città Alta, head towards Piazza Vecchia. From Piazza Vecchia, walk towards the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which is located just adjacent to it. As you face the Basilica, turn left and walk along Via della Fara. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Duomo, where Colleoni Chapel is located. While the Colleoni Chapel is within walking distance in Città Alta, if you wish to use public transport, take the funicular from the lower city (Città Bassa) to Città Alta.
