Getting There

    If you are starting from the Bergamo Funicular Station, exit the station and walk towards Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Follow the road straight until you reach the historic center, known as Città Alta. Once in Città Alta, head towards Piazza Vecchia, which is the main square. From Piazza Vecchia, walk towards the Cathedral of Bergamo (Cattedrale di Bergamo) and take the steps leading to the left of the Cathedral.     From the Bergamo railway station, take the bus number 1 or 1A towards Città Alta. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe' stop. From there, walk straight towards the funicular railway station. Once you reach the funicular, take it up to Città Alta. After exiting the funicular, walk straight towards Piazza Vecchia and continue to the Cathedral. The Colleoni Chapel is located right next to the Cathedral in Piazza Duomo.
