Walking
If you are in the city center of Bergamo (Città Alta), walk towards the funicular station located at Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Take the funicular down to Città Bassa. Once you arrive at the bottom, exit the funicular and head straight onto Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the main train station, Stazione Centrale di Milano. From there, you can take a train to Milano Centrale station, which is near Piazza Duca d'Aosta.

From the center of Bergamo, walk to the bus terminal at Piazza Marconi. Take bus number 1 or 6 towards the Stazione FS (train station). The ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Stazione FS stop and walk towards the train station. Purchase a ticket to Milano Centrale and board the next train heading to Milan. After about 50 minutes, you will arrive at Milano Centrale. From there, you can walk to Piazza Duca d'Aosta, which is approximately 15 minutes away.
