Walking
If you are starting from the Bergamo Train Station, exit the station and head towards Viale Papa Giovanni XXIII. Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the central square, Piazza Matteotti. From there, continue walking towards Via XX Settembre, which is a pedestrian street. Follow Via XX Settembre until you reach the intersection with Via Sant'Alessandro. Turn left onto Via Sant'Alessandro and continue until you see Torre del Gombito on your right side. The tower is located in the heart of the city, making it a prominent landmark.
Public Transport
From Bergamo Train Station, take bus line 1 towards 'Città Alta'. The bus will take you up to the upper city. Get off at the stop 'Colle Aperto'. From Colle Aperto, walk down Via Porta Sant'Agostino, which leads directly into the heart of the old city. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Vecchia. From Piazza Vecchia, head towards Via Gombito. Torre del Gombito will be visible as you approach. The entire journey should take approximately 30 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in the Città Alta, head towards Piazza Vecchia. From there, walk down Via Gombito. The tower is located just a few meters away from the square, and you won’t be able to miss it as it is a historical landmark in the area.
