Walking
If you are in the center of Bologna, start by heading towards Piazza Maggiore. From Piazza Maggiore, take Via Ugo Bassi heading northeast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Indipendenza. Turn right onto Via Indipendenza and walk until you reach the central train station, Bologna Centrale. Once at Bologna Centrale, take a train to Ferrara. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Ferrara station, exit the station and head towards Corso Ercole I d'Este, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs or use a map app to guide you through the streets towards the destination.
Public Transport
From Bologna city center, make your way to the nearest bus stop for the Bologna to Ferrara route. You can board bus number 100, which connects Bologna to Ferrara. The bus journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ferrara, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, walk towards Corso Ercole I d'Este, which should take you approximately 15 minutes.
