From Bologna, head to the Bologna Centrale train station. Take the train to Ferrara, which typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Ferrara train station, exit and head towards the bus stop located directly outside. Take the bus line 1 towards 'Piazza del Popolo' and get off at the stop 'Castello Estense'. The castle will be directly in front of you.

Begin your journey at Bologna Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Ferrara, which takes approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving at Ferrara station, exit the station and head towards the main street. Turn right and continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach L.go Castello. The Estense Castle will be on your left.

If you are already in Ferrara, make your way to the city center. Start at Piazza del Duomo and head northeast towards the Via Garibaldi. Continue on Via Garibaldi until you reach the intersection at Via Mazzini. Turn left and follow Via Mazzini until you reach L.go Castello. The Estense Castle will be located at the end of this street.
