Public Transport
From Bologna, make your way to Bologna Centrale train station. Once there, purchase a ticket to Ferrara; the journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Ferrara train station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus number 1 toward 'Ferrara Centro' and get off at the 'Certosa' stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Ferrara Charterhouse located at Via Borso, 1.
Walking
If you're already in the center of Ferrara, you can walk to Ferrara Charterhouse. Start at the Castello Estense, a prominent landmark. Head northeast on Via Borgo dei Leoni until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. Continue straight onto Via Mazzini, which will take you to Via Borso. Turn left onto Via Borso, and you will find Ferrara Charterhouse on your right.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ferrara. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Ferrara Charterhouse located at Via Borso, 1. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance. It's advisable to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
