From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Piazza Ariostea. Head southeast on 'Viale Cavour' towards 'Piazza Trento e Trieste'. Continue straight and take a slight right onto 'Piazza Ariostea'. The plaza will be on your left.

    From Bologna Centrale train station, take a regional train towards Ferrara. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Ferrara' station, exit the station and turn left onto 'Viale Cavour'. Follow 'Viale Cavour' until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto 'Viale L. Ariosto'. Continue straight, and after about 1 km, you will arrive at Piazza Ariostea on your right.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services in Bologna. Head towards 'Via dell'Indipendenza' and follow it until you reach 'Piazza Maggiore'.
