    Bus

    To reach Piazza Ariostea from the center of Bologna, take bus line 99 from 'Autostazione' (the central bus station). The journey takes about 1 hour. Get off at 'Ferrara Stazione' bus stop. From there, it's a 15-minute walk to Piazza Ariostea. Head southeast on 'Viale Cavour' towards 'Piazza Trento e Trieste'. Continue straight and take a slight right onto 'Piazza Ariostea'. The plaza will be on your left.

    Train

    From Bologna Centrale train station, take a regional train towards Ferrara. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Ferrara' station, exit the station and turn left onto 'Viale Cavour'. Follow 'Viale Cavour' until you reach the roundabout, then take the first exit onto 'Viale L. Ariosto'. Continue straight, and after about 1 km, you will arrive at Piazza Ariostea on your right.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services in Bologna. Head towards 'Via dell'Indipendenza' and follow it until you reach 'Piazza Maggiore'. From there, follow signs to 'Via Ugo Bassi' which will lead you to 'Via C. Battisti'. Continue to 'Viale Cavour' and cycle straight until you reach 'Piazza Ariostea'. The ride should take about 30 minutes.
