From the center of Bologna, start at Piazza Maggiore. Head north on Via Rizzoli towards Via Ugo Bassi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Indipendenza. Turn left onto Via Indipendenza and walk straight until you reach the Bologna Centrale train station. From there, take a train to Ferrara. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. The museum will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
