Walking
From the center of Bologna, start at Piazza Maggiore. Head north on Via Rizzoli towards Via Ugo Bassi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Indipendenza. Turn left onto Via Indipendenza and walk straight until you reach the Bologna Centrale train station. From there, take a train to Ferrara. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ferrara train station, exit the station and take a bus (Line 1) towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazzetta Sant'Anna'. The museum will be just a short walk from the bus stop.
Public Transportation
From Bologna, go to the Bologna Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Ferrara, which can be done at the ticket machines or ticket counters at the station. Board a train heading to Ferrara; these trains run frequently. Upon arrival at Ferrara train station, you can take a local bus (Line 1) directly to 'Piazzetta Sant'Anna'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the designated stop and walk a few minutes to reach the museum.
