From Bologna Centrale train station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Look for the bus stop for line 20, which goes towards 'S. Lazzaro.' Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop called 'Arco del Meloncello.' The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Once you get off, the Arco del Meloncello will be a short walk away.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the main square, Piazza Maggiore. Head southeast on Via dell'Indipendenza until you reach Via Rizzoli. Turn right onto Via Rizzoli and keep walking straight until you reach the end of Via Ugo Bassi. From there, turn left onto Via Saragozza. Continue walking along this road for about 30 minutes, and you will arrive at the Arco del Meloncello, which is located at Strada Statale 64 Porrettana.
