If you are at Bologna Centrale train station, exit the station and head towards Via Indipendenza. Walk straight on Via Indipendenza for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza Maggiore. Once in Piazza Maggiore, face the Basilica di San Petronio and take the street on the left, Via Rizzoli. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Ugo Bassi. Turn right onto Via Ugo Bassi, and shortly after, take a left onto Via Clavature. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Galvani. The Teatro Anatomico will be on your right at Piazza Galvani, 1.

From Bologna Centrale, exit the station and head to the bus stops located just outside. Take bus number 11 or 21 towards 'Fiera' or 'Marconi Airport'. From Bologna Centrale, walk to the nearest tram stop at 'Porta San Donato'. Take tram line T1 towards 'Lame'. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Piazza Maggiore' stop.
