Getting there

Walking

If you are already in the city center of Bergamo, start at the 'Piazza Vecchia'. From there, head south towards 'Viale Vittorio Emanuele II'. Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Bergamo Funicular'. Take the funicular up to the upper city ('Città Alta'). Once you arrive, exit the funicular and proceed to 'Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe'. From here, walk towards the 'Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore' and then follow the signs to 'Piazza Vittoria'. The total walking time is about 30 minutes.

Bus

From 'Piazza Matteotti' in Bergamo, take bus line 1 towards 'Como'. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Como' bus station. From the bus station, walk towards 'Piazza Vittoria'. The landmark 'Porta Torre' is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus station. Head north on 'Viale Lecco', then turn right onto 'Piazza Vittoria'.

Train

Make your way to the 'Bergamo Train Station'. From there, catch a train to 'Como'. The train ride lasts around 40 minutes. After arriving at 'Como' station, exit and walk to 'Piazza Vittoria' which is about 15 minutes on foot. Head north on 'Viale Lecco', then turn right onto 'Piazza Vittoria'.
