If you are already in the city center of Bergamo, start at the 'Piazza Vecchia'. From there, head south towards 'Viale Vittorio Emanuele II'. Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Bergamo Funicular'. Take the funicular up to the upper city ('Città Alta'). Once you arrive, exit the funicular and proceed to 'Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe'. From here, walk towards the 'Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore' and then follow the signs to 'Piazza Vittoria'. The total walking time is about 30 minutes.
