Cable Car
The most direct route to Monte Faito's summit is via the Funivia (cable car) from Castellammare di Stabia. From the Castellammare di Stabia train station (Circumvesuviana line), walk to the cable car station. Purchase a ticket and enjoy the 8-minute ride to the top. Cable car tickets cost approximately €5.50 for a one-way ticket and €8 for a round-trip. Check the EAV website for the most up-to-date schedule, as it varies seasonally. Note that the cable car is typically closed during the winter months.

From Sorrento, take the Circumvesuviana train to Vico Equense. From Vico Equense - staz EAV, take the line 009 bus to SS 269 biv strada Funivia Rai. From there, you can take a taxi to Monte Faito. The bus and train combination takes approximately 1 hour and 58 minutes and costs between €4 and €7. Alternatively, from Naples, take the train to Castellammare di Stabia, then follow the directions for the cable car.
