Getting there

Walking

The Natural Arch is accessible only by foot from Capri town. From the Piazzetta, follow Via le Botteghe to Via Croce, then Via Matermania, following signs for Arco Naturale. The walk is approximately 30-40 minutes. There are some steps and uphill sections. Le Grottelle restaurant is along the route. No admission fee is required to visit the arch.

Public Transport

From Marina Grande, take a bus to Capri town (€2.20). From the town center, follow the walking directions to the Natural Arch. Alternatively, take a taxi from Marina Grande to the Capri town center, and then walk to the arch. Taxi fares vary, but expect to pay around €20-€30.

The Natural Arch, or Arco Naturale, is one of Capri's most iconic natural wonders. This impressive limestone arch, standing 18 meters (59 feet) high and 12 meters (39 feet) wide, is a surviving fragment of a vast cave that existed during the Paleolithic period.
