Walking
From the Amalfi Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi), head northwest on Piazza del Duomo towards Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Turn left onto Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi and continue until you reach the main road, SS163. Turn right and follow the road until you reach the bus station. Here, you can take the SITA bus towards Naples. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Naples, disembark at the central bus station, and walk towards the Piazza Garibaldi area. From there, you can catch the metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Alight at the stop 'Municipio'. From the metro station, it is a short 10-minute walk to Palazzo Salerno. Head east on Via Depretis, turn left onto Via Monte di Dio, and then right onto Piazza del Plebiscito. Palazzo Salerno will be on your left.

Ferry
From the Amalfi Port, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Naples. The ferry ride takes around 1 hour and provides beautiful views of the coastline. Once you arrive at the Naples ferry terminal, follow the signs toward the 'Stazione Marittima'. After exiting the terminal, walk towards Via Acton. From there, you can take the metro line 1 from the 'Università' station towards 'Garibaldi'. Change at Garibaldi to metro line 2 towards Pozzuoli and alight at 'Municipio'. From the metro station, it's about a 10-minute walk to Palazzo Salerno. Head east on Via Depretis, turn left onto Via Monte di Dio, and then right onto Piazza del Plebiscito. Palazzo Salerno will be on your left.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Amalfi to Naples. Simply find a taxi stand or ask your hotel to call one for you. The drive will take approximately 1 hour. Ask the driver to take you to Piazza del Plebiscito. Once you arrive, Palazzo Salerno will be easily visible in the square. This option is more comfortable but will be the most expensive.
