Walking

From the center of Amalfi, walk towards the Amalfi Coast road (SS163). Head northwest along the Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi until you reach the main road. From there, transfer to a train at the Sorrento train station and take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. Get off at the Pozzuoli stop. Once you arrive in Pozzuoli, follow the signs towards Solfatara, which is about a 15-minute walk from the train station.
