Walk
From the center of Capri, head towards the Piazza Umberto I and take Via Roma. Walk straight until you reach the end of the road where it intersects with Via A. Vespucci. Turn left onto Via A. Vespucci and continue walking until you reach the Marina Grande. Once at the Marina, look for the ferry terminal signs.
Ferry
At the Marina Grande, purchase a ticket for a ferry to Amalfi. Ferries run regularly, so check the schedule posted at the terminal. Once you board, enjoy the scenic ride as you travel along the coastline. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes.
Walk
Once you arrive at the Amalfi port, disembark and follow the signs leading to the main square (Piazza del Duomo). As you exit the port area, you’ll notice the beautiful Amalfi Cathedral ahead. Walk straight up the steps from the port and you will reach the town center where you can explore Amalfi.
