    Walking

    From the main square in Capri, Piazza Umberto I, head towards the Marina Grande. Take the funicular railway up to the top of the hill. Once you reach the top, exit the funicular and walk straight ahead to Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left, and continue walking until you reach the main road. Follow the signs to the marina and take a ferry to Naples (Napoli). Upon arriving at the Napoli ferry terminal, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1 and take the metro towards Piscinola. Get off at the Vanvitelli station. From there, follow the signs to Castel Sant'Elmo, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill.

    Start your journey from Capri by taking a ferry from Marina Grande to Naples. When you arrive at the Naples ferry terminal, exit and head to the Metro Line 1. Board the train towards Piscinola and get off at the Vanvitelli station. After exiting the station, follow Via Aniello Falcone, and then turn onto Via Tito Angelini, which will lead you directly to Castel Sant'Elmo. It is about a 15-minute uphill walk from the Vanvitelli station.
