From the main square in Capri, Piazza Umberto I, head south towards Via Vittorio Emanuele. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the funicular railway station. Take the funicular down to the Marina Grande. Once you arrive at Marina Grande, look for the SITA bus station nearby. Board the SITA bus heading to Pompei. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri stop. From there, follow the signs to the entrance of the Necropoli di Porta Ercolano, which is just a short walk away.
