Walking

From Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's central square, walk towards the sea, turning left at Bar Ercolano. Follow the road to the right of the bar down the slight hill. At Piazza Sant'Antonino, follow the main road left, then right, where you'll see the park entrance. The walk is approximately 6 minutes.
Public Transport

Take the EAVBUS Line D from Sorrento Train Station or Piazza Tasso to Marina Grande. From Marina Grande, it is a short walk uphill to Villa Comunale. Bus tickets cost around €1.00 - €2.90.
Taxi

Taxis are available from Piazza Tasso or the Sorrento Train Station. A taxi ride from either location to Villa Comunale will cost approximately €12-€15, with a minimum fare of €6. Additional charges may apply for luggage or travel outside of Sorrento Comune.

Designed by engineer Enrico Smith, its layout features flowerbeds and tree-lined avenues reflecting the English style of the era.Inside the park, visitors can explore tended gardens, relax in the shade of centenarian olive trees, and enjoy the sea breeze. The park also features marble busts honoring Francesco Saverio Gargiulo, Bartolomeo Capasso, and Salve d'Esposito. From the terrace, accessible by a walking passage or elevator, you can reach the beach below. The park's terrace hosts musical and theatrical performances and is decorated with lights during Christmas.Villa Comunale is known for its panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The park is surrounded by high walls, offering a sense of seclusion. A cafe inside the park serves refreshments. The park is open daily, with free admission.
