If you're driving from the center of Casentino, head east on Via Nazionale toward Strada Provinciale 70. Continue on Strada Provinciale 70 for about 15 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take a slight right onto Strada Provinciale 124 dell'Eremo. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, and you will see the signs directing you to Sacro Eremo di Camaldoli. There is parking available near the entrance.

To reach Sacro Eremo di Camaldoli via public transport, take a bus from Poppi. The bus station is located at Piazza della Repubblica. Look for the bus line that goes to Camaldoli or Badia Prataglia. The trip takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Camaldoli stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers uphill on Strada Provinciale 124 dell'Eremo to reach the monastery. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may not be frequent.
