Public Transport - Bus
From Catania, head to the Catania Central Bus Station (Stazione degli Autobus). You can take the bus line Interbus to Syracuse. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Get off at the Syracuse bus station (Piazza della Libertà). From there, walk to Corso Umberto I, a main street in Syracuse, and continue straight until you reach the historic center. Follow the signs to the Ear of Dionysius, located in the Parco Archeologico della Neapolis.

From Catania, go to the Catania Centrale train station. Take a train to Syracuse (Siracusa) which departs frequently. The ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Siracusa train station, exit and walk toward the main street, Corso Umberto I. Continue on Corso Umberto I until you reach the historic center, where you will find signs directing you to the Ear of Dionysius in the Parco Archeologico della Neapolis.

If you are already in the historic center of Catania, you can walk to the Catania Centrale train station or the bus station, which are about a 20-minute walk from the central square (Piazza del Duomo). From there, take a bus or train as described above to reach Syracuse and the Ear of Dionysius.
