Walking
From the Catania Cathedral (Duomo di Catania), head southeast on Via Etnea towards Piazza Università. Walk towards the intersection with Via Sant'Euplio and turn right. Continue on Via Sant'Euplio until you reach the intersection with Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and follow it until you reach the main train station, Catania Centrale. From there, take a train towards Siracusa and get off at Ferla station. Once you arrive at Ferla, exit the station and head northeast on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Piazza S. Sebastiano, where the Basilica di San Sebastiano is located.

Start at the Catania Metro Station 'Stesicoro'. Take the Metro Line 1 towards 'Giovanni XXIII' and get off at the 'Porto' station. From Porto station, walk to the nearby bus terminal. Take the Intercity bus to Ferla. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive in Ferla, walk towards Piazza S. Sebastiano, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The Basilica di San Sebastiano will be on your left as you walk into the square.
