From Catania, head to the central bus station, Stazione degli Autobus, located at Via Archimede. You can take a local bus to Sortino. The buses to Sortino are operated by AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti). Look for the bus that specifically states 'Sortino' on the front. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Sortino, you will need to walk to the Necropolis of Pantalica.

Upon reaching Sortino, ask for directions to the Necropolis of Pantalica or use a map application on your smartphone. The site is about 7 km from Sortino. You can follow the signs leading to the necropolis, but be aware that it’s a rural area, and proper walking shoes are recommended due to uneven terrain.
