From Catania, head to the central bus station at Via Archimede. Look for the AST bus service that heads towards Aci Trezza. The bus number you need is '534' or '535'. Purchase your ticket either at the station or on the bus. The journey typically takes around 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop 'Aci Trezza - Via della Libertà'. After getting off the bus, walk straight along Via della Libertà towards the coast, and you will soon see the beautiful Faraglione della Madonna.

If you're near the waterfront in Catania, you can also enjoy a scenic walk to Aci Trezza. Start at Piazza del Duomo and make your way towards Via Etnea, continuing straight until you reach the waterfront. Follow the coast along Lungomare, which will lead you towards Aci Trezza. The walk is approximately 10 kilometers and may take around 2 hours, but it's a pleasant journey with beautiful views of the sea.

Alternatively, you can take a train from Catania Centrale to Aci Trezza. Head to Catania Centrale train station and look for the train heading towards Giarre. Make sure to check the schedule for trains stopping at Aci Trezza. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Aci Trezza station, it's a short walk of around 1 kilometer to the Faraglione della Madonna, following the signs towards the coast.
