Getting There

    From Catania, head to the main bus station (Stazione degli Autobus) located near Piazza Giovanni Verga. Look for the bus line that goes to Taormina. Purchase your ticket from the ticket office or a vending machine. The bus journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Taormina, get off at the terminal, which is close to the town center.

    From the Taormina bus station, walk approximately 15 minutes to the nearby Funivia (cable car) station. Follow Via Luigi Pirandello, which leads you to the cable car station located at Via Nazionale. Take the cable car down to the beach area, which offers stunning views of the coast and Isola Bella.

    After exiting the cable car, you will find yourself at the Lido Mazzarò beach area. From here, walk towards the shoreline where you will see signs directing you to Isola Bella.
