Getting There

  • Walking

    From San Cristoforo-San Giuliano, head towards Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Walk straight along this street until you reach the intersection with Via Plebiscito. Turn left onto Via Plebiscito and continue walking until you reach the junction with Via Sant'Euplio. Turn right onto Via Sant'Euplio and proceed straight. After about 800 meters, you will see a sign for Ursino Castle on your left. Continue until you reach P.za Federico di Svevia, where the castle is located at number 21.

    You can take the AMT bus line 431 from San Cristoforo-San Giuliano. Board the bus at the nearest stop and disembark at the stop called 'Piazza Federico di Svevia'. The bus ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance to reach the entrance of Ursino Castle. Be sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary.
