Getting There

  • Car

    From Cervinia, head south on the SS46 road towards Breuil-Cervinia. Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach the town of Valtournenche. From there, follow the signs for Zermatt, which will take you onto the A5 highway. Note that you cannot drive into Zermatt, as it is a car-free village. You will need to park your car in Täsch, which has a large parking lot (costing around €16 per day). Once parked, take the shuttle train from Täsch to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes and costs approximately €10. Upon arriving in Zermatt, the Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis is located at Kirchpl. 11, just a short walk from the train station.

    If you prefer to use public transportation from Cervinia, start by taking the bus to Valtournenche. The bus departs regularly from the Cervinia bus station.
