Walking
If you are in the center of Zermatt, head towards Bahnhofplatz (the main square). From there, walk towards the railway station (Bahnhof Zermatt). Once you reach the station, look for signs directing you to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car (Gornergrat Bahn). It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Bahnhofplatz to the cable car station. Follow the road that leads past the shops and cafes, and you will see the cable car station ahead.
Public Transport
From any point in Zermatt, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Buses in Zermatt are typically frequent and will take you to the main station area. Once you arrive at the bus stop near Bahnhof Zermatt, follow the directions to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station. This is a short walk, and there are clear signs indicating the way.
Taxi
If you're looking for a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi. Head to one of the designated taxi stands in Zermatt, usually located near the railway station or in the main square. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station. The ride will be short, taking around 5 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of the station.
