If you're driving from the center of Radda in Chianti, start by heading northwest on Via Roma towards SP 214. Continue straight onto SP 214 for about 1.5 kilometers. As you approach Via Pian d'Albola, look for signs directing you to Albola Castle. Turn left onto Via Pian d'Albola, and after about 1 kilometer, you will see the entrance to Albola Castle on your right. There is ample parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Albola Castle using public transportation, first take a bus from the Radda in Chianti bus station towards Siena. Make sure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the 'Pian d'Albola' stop. From there, it is a pleasant 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Via Pian d'Albola, and you will find Albola Castle on your left after about 1 kilometer. Follow the signs for the castle along the road.
