If you're driving, start from the center of Chianti Classico. Take the SP222 road towards Pontassieve. After about 15 km, you will come to a roundabout where you should take the 2nd exit onto the SP34. Continue for about 4 km until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto Via di Nipozzano. Follow this road for approximately 3 km until you see signs for Castello Nipozzano. There is parking available on-site, and the visit is free.
