From the historic center of San Gimignano, start at the main square, Piazza della Cisterna. Head south towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Madonna. Turn left and follow this road. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the bus station. From the bus station, take a bus to Florence. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Florence, exit the bus and walk towards Piazza Santa Croce. It will be a short 10-minute walk. Follow Via dei Benci until you see the large church with a beautiful façade on your right; that is Piazza di Santa Croce.
