Train and Hike
Start your journey from any of the five Cinque Terre villages. If you are in Monterosso al Mare, take the train to La Spezia Centrale (about 15 minutes). From La Spezia, catch a bus to Porto Venere, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Porto Venere, head towards the trailhead near the church of San Pietro. Follow the signs for the hiking trail that leads to MonteMuzzerone. The hike will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the views are spectacular.

From any of the Cinque Terre villages, take the train to La Spezia. From La Spezia, take a ferry to Porto Venere (about 30-50 minutes depending on the schedule).
