Train
To reach Rapallo Castle from any of the Cinque Terre villages, start by taking a train from your nearest station (e.g., Monterosso, Vernazza, or Manarola) towards La Spezia. Make sure to check the train schedules, as they can vary. In La Spezia, change trains and take the train towards Genova. Get off at Rapallo station, which is approximately a 30-minute journey. Once you arrive at Rapallo station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Mameli. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Lungomare Vittorio Veneto. The castle will be on your right along the waterfront.
Ferry
If you prefer to travel by ferry, head to the nearest ferry terminal in Cinque Terre (e.g., Monterosso al Mare). Check the ferry schedule, as it may vary by season. Take a ferry to Rapallo, which offers stunning views of the coastline. Once you arrive at the Rapallo ferry terminal, disembark and walk straight along the Lungomare. The Rapallo Castle is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal, located along Lungomare Vittorio Veneto on your left.
Bus
For those who prefer bus travel, take a bus from your current location in Cinque Terre to Rapallo. You may need to check the local bus schedules as they can vary. Once you arrive at the Rapallo bus terminal, exit and head towards Lungomare Vittorio Veneto. The castle is approximately a 10-minute walk; simply walk straight along the waterfront until you see the castle on your right.
