From La Spezia: Street Food Walking Tour with Cinque Terre Escape

My first food tour was exceptional!

Great way to combine culture and cuisine in this beatiful city. Our guide expertly took us to four restaruants to sample local cusine. She explained the particulars of the Ligarne (spelling incorrect) region focusing on Focaccia, Pesto and other delights. Also discussed differences from other Italian regions. Talked about local lifestyle and showed us the local markets in addition to the restaruants. Excellent English and very friendly. We had a breakfast, then a dish I can't recall but was humas based then a great seafood lunch (had a great selection but chose anchovies, shrimp and mussels) then Gelato at a Gelateria. Fantastic experience.

You will see all 5 villages in this tour! If you have a limited amount of time this will ensure you get to each spot! If you have more time, it is a lot for one day. Take into consideration the heat and large number of steps. The views are absolutely worth it! There is more tour than food but the food we did have was delicious!
