Car
If you're coming from the town of Fivizzano, head south on Via della Repubblica towards SP1. Continue on SP1 for about 22 km until you reach La Spezia. As you approach La Spezia, take the exit for SP331 towards Porto Venere. Follow this road, which will lead you to the beautiful coastline. Once in Porto Venere, look for signs directing you to Via dei Mulini. Doria Castle is located at the end of this street, and there is parking available nearby.

To reach Doria Castle from the town of Aulla, start by taking a train from Aulla to La Spezia Centrale. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in La Spezia, transfer to the local bus service (Line 11) that goes to Porto Venere. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the town center. From the bus stop, walk towards Via dei Mulini, following the signs to Doria Castle, which is a short walk uphill.
