Getting There

• Train

  To reach Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi in La Spezia from any of the Cinque Terre villages, start by taking the train from the nearest station. If you are in Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, or Riomaggiore, go to the local train station and purchase a ticket to La Spezia Centrale. The trains run frequently, typically every 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at La Spezia Centrale, exit the train station and follow the signs to the main exit. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi.

• Walking

  After exiting La Spezia Centrale, turn left and walk down Via Adua. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via XX Settembre. Turn right onto Via XX Settembre and continue walking until you reach Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. The square is a popular spot and should be easy to find, often bustling with activity.

• Bus

  From the Cinque Terre villages, you can take a bus to La Spezia. Look for the local bus services that connect the villages to La Spezia. Check the bus schedule for the nearest departure times. Once you arrive in La Spezia, the bus will usually drop you off near the city center. From the bus stop, follow signs for Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, which is within walking distance.
