Train
If you are in Cinque Terre, take a train from one of the villages (e.g., Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, or Manarola) to La Spezia. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 10-20 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at La Spezia train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Corso Cavour. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Walking
If you are in La Spezia, and already in the city center, head towards Via del Prione, a main shopping street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Cavour. Turn right on Corso Cavour and continue walking for about 5 minutes. Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi will be on your left, a spacious square perfect for relaxing or people-watching.
Bus
From any location within Cinque Terre, take a bus to La Spezia. Check the local bus schedules for the best route. Once you arrive at the La Spezia bus terminal, exit and walk towards Corso Cavour, which is a straight walk of approximately 10 minutes. Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi will be at the end of this street on your left.
