Getting There

    Starting from the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo, head south on Corso Italia towards Via Cesare Battisti. Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road to Passo Giau (SP638). Turn left onto SP638 and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for the sign for 'Monte Nuvolau' and turn onto the road leading to Rifugio Nuvolau. You may need to park at the designated parking area, which may incur a fee of around €5-€10 for the day.
