Walking
From Piazza Maggiore, walk north along Via Ugo Bassi, then turn right onto Via Alessandro Azeglio. Continue onto Via Zamboni, where you'll find Largo Respighi and the Teatro Comunale. Note that the actual performances are taking place at Comunale Nouveau.

Public Transport
Take bus lines 25 or 27 from the Bologna Centrale train station to the city center. From there, walk along Via Zamboni to Largo Respighi. For performances at Comunale Nouveau, take a bus to Piazza della Costituzione. A single bus ticket costs €2.30 if purchased in advance or €2.50 on the bus.

Taxis are available throughout Bologna. A taxi ride from the Bologna Centrale train station to Teatro Comunale in the city center will cost approximately €16. Note that it's not possible to access Piazza Maggiore by taxi on weekends and holidays.
