Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to Bologna. From the center of Bologna, head east on Via Indipendenza towards Via Rizzoli. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Via di Casaglia. Turn left onto Via di Casaglia and continue straight for about 3 kilometers. San Pellegrino Park will be on your left at Via di Casaglia, 36-38. Be aware that parking may be limited near the park, so consider finding a spot a little farther away and walking.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach San Pellegrino Park using public transportation, first, head to the nearest bus stop in Bologna. Take Bus number 20 or 21 from the central station (Stazione Centrale di Bologna) towards 'San Ruffillo'. Get off at the 'Casaglia' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the park. Head west on Via di Casaglia and you will find the park entrance at Via di Casaglia, 36-38. A single bus ticket costs approximately €1.50 and is valid for 75 minutes.
Public Transportation - Tram
Alternatively, you can take Tram Line 1 from Bologna's central train station. Ride the tram towards 'Lame' and get off at the 'Corticella' stop. From there, switch to Bus number 20 or 21 as mentioned earlier and follow the same instructions to reach 'Casaglia' stop. The total cost for a tram and bus journey will also be around €1.50.
