Bus
From Florence city center, head to the main bus station, Firenze S.M.N. (Santa Maria Novella). Look for the bus line that goes towards Vagliagli. You can take the bus line 130 or 131 to the stop 'Vagliagli'. Once you arrive at the Vagliagli bus stop, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs towards Località Cagliano, and you will reach Borgo Scopeto Winery.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Firenze S.M.N. to the nearest train station, which would be Siena. The journey takes about an hour. Upon arriving in Siena, exit the train station and head to the bus terminal located nearby. Look for a bus heading to Vagliagli. The winery is approximately 4 kilometers from the Vagliagli bus stop, so you may need to walk or take a local taxi from there.
Taxi or Ride-Sharing
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply enter 'Borgo Scopeto Winery, Località Cagliano, 53019 Vagliagli SI' as your destination. This option will take you directly to the winery without any transfers, and the journey should take around 30 minutes from central Florence, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and enjoy walking, you can also follow the scenic routes from Florence to Vagliagli. Start from the historic center of Florence and walk towards the south along the Arno River, then continue towards the hills. It's a lengthy walk of about 15 kilometers, so make sure you are prepared with comfortable shoes and enough water. You will enjoy stunning views of the Tuscan landscape along the way.
