Bus
From Florence, take the SITA bus from the main bus station, which is located at Via Santa Caterina da Siena. Look for the buses heading to San Gimignano. The journey will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Gimignano bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the town center. Head straight on Via San Giovanni, and then take a left onto Via delle Fonti. Continue until you reach the intersection with Via Casale, and turn right. The Cappella di Sant’Andrea will be located on your left at Località Casale, 26.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Florence Santa Maria Novella station to Poggibonsi. You can buy tickets at the station or online. Once you arrive at Poggibonsi, you will need to transfer to a local bus. Look for the SITA bus that goes to San Gimignano. After about 20 minutes on the bus, get off at the San Gimignano stop. After exiting the bus, walk towards the town center, then follow the directions for the bus option to reach Località Casale, 26.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Florence to the Cappella di Sant’Andrea. Taxis can be found at taxi stands around the city, or you can book one through your hotel. The drive will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to provide the driver with the address: Località Casale, 26, 53037 San Gimignano.
Walking (if nearby)
If you are already in the San Gimignano area, you can walk to Cappella di Sant’Andrea. From the center of San Gimignano, head towards the northern part of the town and take Via San Giovanni. Continue walking until you reach Via delle Fonti, then turn left. Follow Via Casale, and you will find the Cappella di Sant’Andrea at Località Casale, 26.
